Avoid The FB “BANNED” Wagon….
A few of my team members have reached out to me to let me know when they attempted to place an ad to Facebook promoting various MLM opportunities they received a notice from FB that their account was either flagged or banned altogether.
This is why you have to take time to actually read the “Terms of Service (TOS) of the vehicles/tools we need to run our businesses online. You must take time to read what is acceptable and not acceptable marketing practices on the marketing platforms you choose. If you’ve managed to get yourself in a pickle like this don’t beat yourself up…
I’ve been banned twice and it actually turned out to be a good thing because it forced me to sit down and take a little time to read and understand what FB expects out of its Advertisers (which is YOU)…
FB has some very strict guidelines for advertising (https://www.facebook.com/policies/ads/) and Multi-level Marketing (MLM), Internet Marketing (IM),and Make Money Online type offers will quickly get you banned since many people complain about them.
The most important aspect is your landing page, which should not make income claims and should be tied to a FB page that has good content/status updates.
This means that you should develop a custom wrapper ( a landing page before the opportunity) that is compliant with what Facebook requires. Many of the MLM landing pages should not be directly connected to your FB ads because they make “Income Claims” on the page(s).
With that being said, you may need to create a “Bridge Page” so when the user hits submit, they are not taken directly to the MLM/Network Marketing Business sales page. Instead, they will be taken to a Bridge/Welcome” page where you will thank them for subscribing with a short “Thank You Video” and short intro to what they have just subscribed to. You will then have a button below the video that says something like “Click Here To See The System” or something like that and that will take them to the opportunity site.
This is just one suggestion for avoiding getting your ad account in trouble with Facebook and since FB can change their guidelines anytime they want I highly advise you to check the current updates to their Terms or Service and not rely solely on this post in the event there is an update since posting…Hope this helps….
Hope this helps….
