I must admit when I first got started in online marketing I didn’t know where to begin. My mentor was always giving me instructions such as Corey, you got to create content, Corey, make a Facebook post, and write blog post, etc. That was great advice in theory but when you are new and you have no clue what the hell you’re doing that’s as useful as trying to use a fork to eat a bowl of soup. Having a mentor is the best way to get motivation and guidance to 10X your results in any business but what they can’t do for you is instill in you is the courage to go outside of your comfort zone in order to get your business up and running fast! You have to figure out how to muster that yourself.
With that said, sometimes you have to be willing to be vulnerable and allow yourself to just fuck up!
That’s right I said it, allow yourself to fuck up and learn from your mistakes and press on.
We all procrastinate in one way or another and it’s mostly because were afraid of screwing up, waiting for the perfect time, or we think we’re just not quite ready yet.
Let me be a hundred percent honest with you right now.
I’m still freaking NEW at this!
Yes, I have been in the internet marketing space for almost 2 years now but I started behind the scenes by buying items on clearance in stores like Wal-Mart and Target and then selling them for a profit on sites like Amazon and EBay.
I then decided I wanted to enter the Affiliate Marketing space where I learned how to post ads on Facebook, Instagram, Bing and Google Ads (just to name a few) and get paid when others click my links and make purchases from my efforts.
So, now I’ve decided to I want to teach others how to do the same. No, I’m not a guru but what you’ll learn from me is simple tips to help build YOU as a brand that you can market and get paid!
Here’s your friendly reminder…
Don’t !Be Afraid To SCREW Up!
….and what that simply means to you is:
-Record a Facebook Live or a Youtube video and don’t give a hoot if you think you’re ready or prepared enough.
-Write a blog post about on a related subject in your niche regardless if you think it even makes any sense. You can always edit later.
-Pick up the phone and call/text a friend or associate and tell them y’all should meet for lunch so you could share an idea (your business opportunity) with them that you know would be a great partnership venture.
I think you get the picture. Don’t over think your moves. Like Nike said “Just Do It”!
You’ll never be able to get off the ground if you’re not willing to fall on your face!
I hope this inspires you to take action NOW!
